We strive to create a quiet, stress-free, environment that is as close to home as possible. We are honored by, and take very seriously, the great responsibility you have entrusted to us by allowing us to care for your precious baby. Each child will be assigned a "primary caregiver" in order to develop and strengthen a positive relationship. Your infant will be fed and allowed to sleep on demand (or according to the schedule you have set up for them) and will be changed every 2 hours or as needed. They will be given opportunities to expand their development through "tummy time", sensory activities, free exploration, and curriculum time.
Our infant room uses the Pinnacle Curriculum from the Childcare Education Institute. The Pinnacle Curriculum is a researched based early childhood curriculum based on the works of Piaget, Gardner, and Erikson. If focuses on all major developments and provides ideas for nature experiences, music, and art.
Your infant will graduate to the Wobbler room at 1 year of age or when they are steadily mobile- whichever comes first. Your child will begin their transition to the Wobbler room by visiting for short periods a few weeks prior to their graduation date. You will be given notice of when this transition will begin and given the opportunity to meet with your child's new teacher and learn about the classroom.
**Promotions to next room is always based on child's development and space availability
