In September of 2012 New Wonders Discovery Center became part of the Oshtemo community and started the journey of nurturing the learning experiences of numerous children from Kalamazoo and the surrounding communities. Conveniently located on Staduim Drive at the intersection of 8th street within Village Place, NWDC is easily accessable to families commuting to and from Kalamazoo. 

NWDC opens at at 7:00 AM and close at 5:30 PM. We hold to those hours to provide parents the most convenient opportunity to drop off and pick up their children and still make the balance of their commute in a safe unhurried manner.

NWDC is a teaching/learning facility.  Our goal is to prepare your child to become part of, and participate in, a community of others.  Unfortunately, Centers such as this one, are often confused with day care centers and babysitting services.  NWDC is neither of these and therefore maintains a structured group schedule based on age, maturity and skills so that your child can maximize his or her learning opportunities to the fullest.
