The Pre-K classroom is a step up from the Preschool room. The children will continue to learn responsibility through group and independent play. A set schedule will be followed with designated nap and eating times. We call our Pre-K program our "school readiness" program. The skills that were introduced in the Preschool room will be reviewed and reinforced in order to prepare the children for Kindergarten and beyond.

The Pre-K class will follow a curriculum called Answers, also put out by Alpha and Omega publishing, who is a leading publisher of Christian school curriculum. 

This program will also include our "Young 5's". We will be approaching more challenging activities with our children who are turning 5, but unable to enter school yet.  Our goal is for the children of both of these programs to be beginning to read and write by the time they leave this program. 

Your child will graduate to either our "Young 5's" program or our Before and After School program, depending on their age and school status. We will work with each family individually to determine where their child fits in our program and their readiness for starting school.
